A Warwick toddler is finally home after spending nearly a year in the hospital.

Twenty-two-month-old Wyatt Lopez received a loving send-off Tuesday at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital. Dressed in a tuxedo, he was cheered on by the hospital staff who cared for him.

Wyatt had been admitted last October in need of a heart transplant. Just a few weeks ago, he received the life-saving procedure. His grandmother says the operation lasted 20 hours and involved dozens of specialists.

Wyatt's family says he got the best care he could ever get.
