The Tunnel To Towers Foundation landed its mobile 9/11 exhibit at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe Monday for local students to learn more about the tragic day.

History teacher Marty White, at Bronxville's Saint Joseph School, has been doing a walk-a-thon for years honoring the lives lost in 9/11 - specifically for fallen FDNY firefighter's Stephen Siller and Sean Tallon.

"A few years ago, I had a student, Patty Daros and found out that his uncle was in one of the towers, a firefighter, that perished in 9/11. We wanted to do something to benefit Tunnel To Towers. We had our first walk-a-thon with his class, and I've been trying to do it every year since with Uncle Sean's memory," said White.

The purpose of the exhibit is to never forget and to educate those who are unable to travel to the NYC memorial, by bringing the exhibit to them.

The exhibit has traveled to 32 locations nationwide so far.

"Whenever you are here a siren. It could be a cop, fireman, ambulance, who the heck knows. Keep them in mind. They're going somewhere to help someone," said retired FDNY Lt. Steven Casquarelli, who participated as a volunteer guide on Monday.

The students additionally helped to raise more than $5,000 to support the Tunnel To Towers foundation.

This is the fourth consecutive year that the Eastchester Rotary has coordinated and subsidized the presentation of the Tunnel To Towers 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to the Eastchester community.
