A man from Westchester is representing the United States in men's curling in the winter Olympics.

Team USA officials say Danny Casper, 24, was born and raised in Briarcliff Manor.

They say he started curling at just 11 years old at the Ardsley Curling Club.

Club president Amy Costantino is proud of Casper's accomplishments and says it's been fun watching him reach the Olympic level.

"Oh my gosh, we're all so excited. I used to curl with him when I first started 11 years ago and he was always so sweet and so talented," Costantino says.

Members say the club will host watch parties to support Casper and the rest of the team as they compete in Milano Cortina.
