The NFL does not plan to discipline New York Giants co‑owner Steve Tisch after his name appeared in federal documents released earlier this year.

Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the matter Tuesday at the close of the NFL’s league meetings. Goodell said the league reviewed information tied to the documents and found no basis for discipline under the personal conduct policy.

“As we’ve said, we’re going to follow facts,” Goodell said. “We have been doing that and we’re very focused on making sure we understand everything that’s out there.”

The league said in February it would examine any ties involving Tisch after his name appeared in the materials released by the U.S. Justice Department in January.

Tisch and his siblings, Laurie and Jonathan, recently signaled plans to transfer their remaining 23.1% ownership share of the Giants to their children’s trusts.

A memo indicated the family would no longer hold an ownership interest once the transactions were completed.

Federal records referenced Tisch’s name numerous times. Tisch has acknowledged knowing Epstein in the past but denied traveling to locations linked to him.

Tisch appeared in federal court filings as part of a broader release of records earlier this year.

NFL officials said their review is complete.
