A cool and crisp day is on the way for the entire Hudson Valley. It will be a dry and sunny day, thankfully. But with the winds around, you'll be reaching for that thicker jacket or coat. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph this afternoon. This would make temps in the low 50s feel like the low 40s.
The winds will back down tonight, but a chill will settle in all across the region. Under clear skies and a light breeze, temps will go down into the 20s. The normal low is 37 degrees so you'll be reaching for that blanket to keep you warm overnight.
While a dry stretch of weather moves through for the next several days, the temperatures will gradually rise to more pleasant levels. Wednesday will be the coldest day this week, with temps struggling to get towards 50 degrees. But by Friday, and the weekend, temps will be into the 60s. Get ready to grab those short sleeves again as we will have a temperature trend for early May as supposed to early April.
Friday is the PICK OF THE WEEK with temps around 66 degrees, under mostly sunny skies and with a pleasant breeze all day long.
