Suffolk County Police arrested a 24-year-old Shirley man on Wednesday on felony child pornography charges following a tip from state and national task forces.

Police said Digital Forensics Unit detectives received information from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, prompting an investigation into Miguel Lisandro.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Lisandro’s home on Revilo Avenue around 6:01 a.m. Wednesday, when they recovered pornographic images of children from his electronic devices.

Lisandro was charged with Promoting and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.
