The sky will gradually clear tonight, but there is a risk of a few sprinkles and showers this evening. The sun returns for Friday with a cooler breeze.
One more round of showers is possible Friday night into early Saturday. Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be running slightly below normal, but a warm-up is expected next week.
A nearby coastal storm looks to come close to New Jersey this weekend, but the latest trends have kept the majority of the rain south and east, away from the state.
Look for nicer weather and warmer temperatures with highs in the 70s next week. There is a risk of some showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.
