Please remain vigilant as the state is currently in its peak spring wildfire season, with over 200 fires already reported this year and dry conditions persisting, the risk of fire spread is elevated.

Sunday will bring a slight cool-down and cloudier skies, with temperatures dipping to a low of 40.

The crisp air won't stay for long, as an unseasonable warm-up is set to move in for the first half of the week. Temperatures will climb significantly, reaching the upper 70s on Monday and potentially soaring to a summer-like 87 by Wednesday. While the forecast remains largely dry, helping to fuel those warm temperatures, keep an eye out for a slight chance of a passing shower on Monday and Friday.

THE FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows in the mid- to upper 30s.

SUNDAY: A mix of sun and clouds, with mild temperatures. Highs in the low 60s. Lows in the mid-40s.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy, with a chance of spotty to scattered showers. Highs in the low 70s. Lows in the upper 50s.
