Police say two people have been arrested after a teen was killed and two other people were critically hurt after a fight broke out during a gathering in Nassau County on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old male and two additional victims were shot, Nassau police say.

Police say the two other victims were men ages 28 and 31-years-old. They are both in critical condition.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. at Field 2 at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow during a so-called 'BBQ' that had been promoted on social media.

Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder says this shooting was related to the Bloods gang and two people have been arrested with firearms in their possession.

The teen was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

People who attended the event were both male and female, from Suffolk County and the Bronx, according to the Commissioner.
