Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who assaulted a woman at a Flatlands bus stop on April 14.

Investigators say the 66-year-old victim was approached from behind while waiting for the B46 bus near Utica Avenue and Avenue K.

The attacker grabbed her hair and pushed her to the ground before fleeing the scene on foot.

Police say the victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is described as a female last seen wearing a tan jacket, black T-shirt, blue pants and multicolored sneakers.

Anyone with additional information is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
