Fans are already lining up this morning for a rare Foo Fighters pop‑up show, with tickets available only in person and priced at $30.
The line formed early outside the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, where tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. for the band's show Saturday at 8 p.m. The venue holds about 2,500 people, prompting fans to camp out to secure a spot.
Tickets are limited to two per person and are being sold on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The Starland Ballroom parking lot opened at 4 a.m. to allow fans to begin lining up.
The in‑person sale is part of what organizers say makes the event unique, echoing the way concert tickets were once purchased before online sales became common.
The Foo Fighters also announced a second pop‑up show in New York City, scheduled for tonight at Irving Plaza. Tickets for that show are also being sold in person, starting this morning.
Tickets for the Sayreville show will be delivered electronically through the AXS app, while tickets for the Irving Plaza show will be delivered via the Ticketmaster app.
Both shows were announced as a surprise Wednesday.
