The Walgreens at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Court Street in Brooklyn Heights is closing on June 4.
In a statement, Walgreens said the location is closing because the landlord terminated the location’s lease.
Starting on June 4, the prescriptions from that location will be transferred to the Duane Reade at 386 Fulton St.
Walgreens says patients of the Court Street and Atlantic Avenue location will be able to get free prescription delivery for 90 days, to make the transition easier.
Those customers will still be able to fill their prescriptions at that location until they close on June 4.
“It's a disgrace because more and more of these pharmacies in the neighborhoods are closing,” said one long-time customer.
