Car window shattered in Soundview shooting
A bullet lodged into the rear of the car missed the passenger by inches.

Shots were fired from a car early Wednesday morning, striking a vehicle with passengers in Soundview.
Police responded to a call just after 2 a.m. near Soundview and Noble avenues.
A witness inside the car told News 12 he was being dropped off by his Uber driver when a white BMW sped by. Two other cars sped after the white BMW and multiple shots were fired.
Police say the shots were fired out of a black sedan.
A bullet lodged into the rear of the car missed the passenger by inches.
Two more cars sped by the scene. The driver and the passenger ducked for cover but could hear more shots being fired in the distance.
No one was injured and police are investigating the incident.
