Haverstraw police responded to an incident between two men at the ShopRite in Garnerville on Sunday.
Officials say one of the men involved is a member of the NYPD.
Investigators say one round from a gun was accidentally fired, but it did not hit anyone.
It’s unclear whose weapon discharged.
Police say the names of the two men involved are not being released.
