A Connecticut man is facing a slew of charges after drugs and paraphernalia were found inside his car during a traffic stop Tuesday in the Town of Southeast.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office says two deputies pulled over Frederick Douglass Wolfolk after witnessing him commit multiple traffic violations along Interstate 84.

The deputies determined that the 33-year-old’s license had been suspended.

The sheriff’s office released bodycam footage of the stop. In it, a deputy could be heard asking “is there anything else in the car besides weed?”

“No, no,” Douglass replied while waving his hand.

In addition to marijuana, a search of his vehicle uncovered oxycodone tablets, drug packing materials and around 7.5 grams of cocaine.

The bodycam footage also showed a crack pipe being removed from the car.

Authorities say Douglass was arrested without incident and taken to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for processing.

The charges against him include criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a narcotic drug, criminally using drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of cannabis, aggravated unlicensed operation and multiple vehicle and traffic infractions.

He was arraigned in the Town of Southeast Court and released on his own recognizance.
