The weather pattern over Connecticut is about to get very unsettled. An upper-level storm will slowly move in our direction, sending spokes of stormy weather towards the region.

The primary concern over the next few days is the amount of rain expected to collect. This barrage of wet weather in a short amount of time over the next few days will likely have the more flood-prone areas filling with water.

Please be very mindful that the water will collect fairly quickly. Protect that investment of yours. Do not attempt to drive through roads that are covered with water. Find a different way to get where you are going.

The chance for marginally severe storms exists in tomorrow's forecast. Winds could frequently gust to 40 mph and any storm could contain dangerous lightning. Be smart, be safe tomorrow.
