A man recently arrested in a 2021 cold case murder is returning to court Friday.

Shawn McLaurin stands accused of fatally shooting 49-year-old Shawn Jefferson in White Plains on New Year’s Eve.

Investigators say it took multiple law enforcement agencies years of work to finally identify and apprehend McLaurin.
