NYPD releases surveillance video of man wanted in Flatbush cab shooting
According to police, the man got into the back seat of the cab and threatened the victim. Investigators say he demanded money and keys to the vehicle.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man they say robbed and shot a 21-year-old man during an attempted robbery outside a TLC livery cab in Flatbush.
The shooting happened around 4:15 a.m. on July 11 outside 525 Parkside Ave.
According to police, the man got into the back seat of the cab and threatened the victim. Investigators say he demanded money and keys to the vehicle.
As the victim got out of the cab, police say the gunman shot him in the face.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was listed as stable.
The NYPD has now released surveillance video showing the man inside the back seat of the cab before the shooting. At one point, he pulls down his black surgical mask, giving a clearer look at his face.
Police say the gunman ran west on Parkside Avenue toward Flatbush Avenue with an unknown amount of cash. Investigators say he did not take the cab.
The man is described as wearing blue shorts, a black sweatshirt, a black surgical mask, black shoes and carrying a black backpack.
