Police arrested a Wallkill man after they say he left the scene of a deadly crash that he allegedly caused.

Police say 24-year-old Chase Godwin ran a red light and then hit and killed 51-year-old Scott Richter.

It happened July 16 at Route 212 and Kings Highway in Saugerties.

Richter was thrown from his motorcycle and died a week later.
