Police say a woman is in custody for an attempted attack on a Connecticut State Capitol Police officer.
It happened on Wednesday morning on Armory Road in Hartford.
They say the woman approached an officer inside his car with a knife and tried to stab him through the window. She also tried to steal the patrol car, according to police.
The officer didn't sustain any injuries.
The suspect is undergoing a psychological evaluation at a hospital.
