Researchers remind community to receive vaccines this fall

People who are 75 years old and older should receive the RSV vaccine. Pregnant women, people who are immunocompromised and babies younger than 8 months old are all advised to get the vaccine.

As fall sets in, researchers are reminding the community to protect themselves from getting sick.

A vaccine review published in the Journal of the American Medical Association says everyone who is 6 months old and older should get their annual flu shot in October.

People who are 75 years old and older should receive the RSV vaccine. Pregnant women, people who are immunocompromised and babies younger than 8 months old are all advised to get the vaccine.

Doctors recommend any adults who have not had COVID-19 recently should get an updated vaccine.
