An Amenia farm honored country music icon Dolly Parton and her late husband, Carl Dean, in a heartwarming way.

Elk Ravine Farm recently welcomed two baby water buffalo and named them Dolly and Carl as a tribute to the couple. Dolly was born three weeks ago. Carl was born this past Friday.

Parton died on Aug. 25 at the age of 80, and Dean died on March 3, 2025, at the age of 82.

Visitors who want to meet the adorable new arrivals can do so by reserving a tour at the farm.
