From Nighthawks to Nyack: Museum celebrates Edward Hopper’s legacy

Students from two schools in the Bedford school district were evacuated Thursday morning after a construction worker accidentally struck a gas line, according to Bedford police.

Students at Mt. Kisco Elementary School and the Hillside Alternative School were evacuated as a precaution and transported to the Fox Lane campus while officials addressed the situation.

Police said no injuries were reported. Students will remain at the Fox Lane campus until they are cleared to return to their schools.
