New York State Police say they caught a driver going 104 mph in a 55 mph zone.
The citation was issued on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County over the weekend.
"People have passed me doing 100 mph, it's crazy out there," said Pat, who drives on the Taconic in Westchester County often.
Police say the problem goes beyond the parkways and they see it around the Hudson Valley.
The same goes for the drivers who News 12 spoke with Monday.
"I drive every day and I see people doing crazy things. I feel like people need to be reminded like, just take your time," said Bekah, who drives around Westchester County for work.
Police are encouraging drivers to slow down and give themselves enough time to get where they're going safety.
