A man already serving 20 years to life for murder is getting more prison time for an attack behind bars.
Prosecutors say 21-year-old Jiniye Hooks was caught with a medical scalpel at Goshen Secure Center.
They say months later he attempted to slash another inmate with a ceramic blade.
A facility employee was also hurt.
Hooks pleaded guilty to eight felonies and was sentenced to an additional nine to 10 years.
