FORECAST
Today will be noticeably cooler, but with lighter winds. A weak cold front will continue to move through the region, dropping temperatures and giving subtropical storm Josephine a final push away from the coast. High temperatures will struggle to get near 60 degrees this afternoon.

The weather will be phenomenal this weekend despite the cooler temperatures. Expect beautiful sunshine, highs in the 50s to mid-60s and lows in the mid to upper 30s. Frost is expected tonight and Saturday night. As temperatures fall to the 30s, frosty conditions could harm or kill any outdoor plants.

The Fall foliage is starting to pop across parts of the region, making it a perfect weekend for any leaf peeping or fall festivities. If you're going to the free McLean Fall festival, grab the coats and boots, high temperatures will be in the upper 50s with calm winds.

The dry stretch of weather will last into next week. Expect more classic sunny autumn days and chilly nights ahead. As of now, Halloween is looking dry, mild and breezy. Stay tuned for updates.
