A 9-year-old boy was struck by a car in the Village of Mamaroneck, according to police.
It happened just before 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Halstead and North Barry avenues.
Investigators say the child did not appear to have serious injuries. Paramedics took him to Westchester Medical Center.
Police say they charged the alleged driver with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Their identity was not immediately released.
