A three-alarm fire broke out at a six-story apartment complex at 555 Bronx River Road just before 1 a.m. today, according to emergency officials.

Multiple crews worked to extinguish the blaze, with the Red Cross arriving as the situation unfolded.

Hours after the fire was extinguished, crews returned to the building to remove siding, windows, and excess glass from a top-floor apartment. Smoke damage marks the exterior windows of that apartment and surrounding units. Soot, glass, and debris from the cleanup are piling up on the ground.

Details remain limited, and it’s unclear if anyone was injured or if residents were displaced.
