Three New York City men have been arrested in connection with the murders of a retired police officer and nephew who were found dead at an abandoned Newburgh home last month.
Craig Fennell, 51, of the Bronx, and Frank Lewis, 56, and Rabbi Victor Koltun,41, both of Brooklyn, are all being charged with murder for allegedly killing Francis Piscopo, 49, and his nephew, Gerald, 28.
Francis Piscopo was a Town of Lloyd police sergeant and had a history of encounters with the law prior to leaving the force.
Koltun was also indicted as a part of an alleged mortgage-fraud ring in Brooklyn back in February.
The bodies were discovered in a Liberty Street home on Nov. 3.
