Yemeni culture and heritage took centerstage Sunday in the Bronx, with some of the best and brightest parts of Little Yemen on full display.
Now in its third year, the Yemeni American Day Parade brought out thousands of people from all over the country.
Yemeni Americans say they want to both enjoy their culture with each other and share it with neighbors in what has become a second home.
Yemen has been dealing with a civil war since 2014. Many in attendance told News 12 that events like the parade prove that the people are actually united.
