A Middletown chiropractor who women claim adjusted more than their spines was arraigned Monday.
Dr. Christopher King was arrested in May after a woman claimed he fondled her. He was released on bail, but five more women have come forward with accusations. One claims King stuck his hand down the front of her pants while another says he touched her breasts.
"Dr. King would position himself in a manner that he could look at the front door and look into a mirror so he can see behind him," says Middletown Detective Sgt. Jerry Mishk. "He had a 360-degree view of anyone around him."
The incidents allegedly occurred at Dolson Avenue Medical, where King no longer works. However, state medical officials say his license has not been suspended.
King's attorney denies the accusations. "Dr. King did absolutely nothing inappropriate and did not engage in any type of misconduct that could be of a criminal nature," says James Monroe.
King faces up to six years behind bars if he's convicted.
