Eight correctional officers are recovering from injuries sustained during an attack by inmates at the Green Haven Correctional Facility on July 31st.

According to authorities, four inmates were involved in the incident, which required the use of pepper spray and body holds to regain control of the situation.

The inmates are now facing disciplinary charges for their roles in the attack.
