85-year-old Montebello man dies in 3-car crash in Ramapo

The crash happened when the driver of a Nissan Rogue, that was headed eastbound on Route 59, crossed into the westbound lane at the intersection when they struck a Hyundai Sonata being driven by the victim.

An 85-year-old Montebello man died in a motor vehicle crash in Ramapo over the weekend.
Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Airmont Road and State Route 59 Saturday morning.
Officials say three vehicles were involved.
The crash happened when the driver of a Nissan Rogue, that was headed eastbound on Route 59, crossed into the westbound lane at the intersection when they struck a Hyundai Sonata being driven by the victim.
Then, a third car, driven by a 58-year-old Armonk resident, driving in the westbound lane, struck the two cars in the intersection.
All drivers were transported to the hospital where the Montebello man later died from his injuries.
