An eighth-grade student from the Hudson Valley is receiving some national recognition from NASA on Tuesday.
It's part of the agency's "You've Got Perseverance" Award, which recognizes students who have demonstrated perseverance in their academic pursuits.
Marisa Marino, of Port Chester, is one of 16 students in the nation to receive the award.
She'll receive a special message Tuesday live from the Perseverance rover on Mars.
