Rockville Centre remembered its residents who passed away on 9/11 Sunday night.

Every year, offcials name the 49 people from Rockville Centre who died in the terrorist attcks.

Family members left flowers and candles at the village memorial, which the mayor says will always be a place of strength.

Officials also put out 3,000 small American flags to represent all of those who died on Sept. 11, 2001.
