9 remaining McDonald’s closed along NY Thruway

The New York State Thruway Authority says the remaining McDonald's restaurants in the Thruway service areas have ended operations.

The New York State Thruway Authority says the remaining McDonald's restaurants in the Thruway service areas have ended operations. 
The nine McDonald's will be replaced with temporary options that include C-Stores. Those stores will feature "Taste NY" products and merchandise.
Two other service areas on the Thruway are also undergoing renovation. 
Fuel services remain available.
