Accomplice in Tartaglione quadruple murder case sentenced to time served
Marcos Cruz was sentenced to just the seven years he has already served. He was originally facing a minimum of 10 years to life in prison for his role in helping Nicholas Tartaglione bury the bodies of four men.

Marcos Cruz, who aided a former Briarcliff Manor police officer in an Orange County quadruple murder, was sentenced in Federal Court in White Plains today.
Originally facing a minimum of 10 years to life in prison for his role in helping Nicholas Tartaglione bury the bodies of four men killed in a drug deal, Cruz was sentenced to just the seven years he has already served.
In April 2016, Tartaglione lured Martin Luna and three other men to a now-closed bar run by his brother. After months of searching for the victims, police confronted Cruz, who worked as a farmhand for Tartaglione.
Cruz then led them to the area where the bodies were buried. Defense attorney Dominick Porco stated that the move was a "fair and just sentence under the tragic circumstances of the case."
Cruz remains in custody and is expected to be deported back to Mexico. Meanwhile, Tartaglione's sentencing has been postponed until at least late November.
