Extra applications have become open for people looking for section 8 housing in Ulster County.

The Ulster County Housing Choice voucher waiting list is now open through Feb.13 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program provides rental assistance to low to moderate income households.

Housing service provider – RUPCO – will also host application assistance at 2 Main St. in Kingston Wednesday and Thursday. The session runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

RUPCO will also have assistance for residents on Feb. 6 through 8.
