The House Jan. 6 panel held a primetime hearing Thursday night unveiling shocking video and testimony.
Capitol Police Officer Caroline Edwards described a "war scene" as the Proud Boys attacked on Jan. 6.
"There were officers on the ground, you know, they were bleeding, they were throwing up," said Edwards. "They were, you know, they had, I, I mean, I saw friends with blood all over their faces. I was slipping in people's blood."
"What really what made me want to come was the fact that, you know, I had supported Trump all that time," said Robert Schornack, who was sentenced to 30 months' probation over the Jan. 6 riot. I did believe you know, that the election was being stolen, and Trump asked us to come. He personally asked for us to come to DC that day...and I thought for everything he's done for us, if this is the only thing he's going to ask of me, I'll do it."
"Mr. Meadows was asking me what I was finding and if I was finding anything," said Trump campaign lawyer Alex Cannon. "And I remember sharing with him that we weren't finding anything that would be sufficient to change the results in any of the key states."
