Authorities say Rhinebeck fire units were dispatched to the intersection of Mill Street and Route 9 for a rollover auto accident with a person left entrapped inside a vehicle around 10 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, authorities encountered a vehicle laying on its roof that struck a home, as well as a parked car with one individual still trapped inside.
Fire crews stabilized the vehicle and worked to extricate the patient, so they could be transported quickly to a hospital.
After the vehicle was removed, Rhinebeck fire units were placed back in service a little before midnight.
Also assisting on scene were NDP EMS, Rhinebeck PD, New York State Police , the Village of Rhinebeck building inspector, and LJ'S Towing.
