Two people who say they were molested by priests at Fordham Prep and Fordham University spoke out for the first time Wednesday about the accusations.
The alleged victims were joined by leaders of two groups, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests and Bishop Accountability, at a news conference. Organizers of the news conference say they want to expose the Catholic schools for allegedly keeping the sexual abuse secret for decades.
One of the priests accused of the abuse is the Rev. Eugene O'Brien, who was a principal and president of Fordham Prep in the early 1970s. He has since retired.
Calls to Fordham Prep and Fordham University for comment about the allegations have not been returned.
