Another round of showers and storms is in sight for the Hudson Valley

There will be some hours, coming up, where you'll see some sunshine. But there will also be several hours with darken skies and rain falling down.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Into Friday morning, there will be mostly cloudy skies, a chance for some patchy fog and some drizzle. The morning commute will fare better than the Thursday morning one with less rain in the forecast. Through the daytime hours Friday, there will be sunny breaks at times and a warm feeling in the air.

After about 9-10 p.m., a threat of rain and isolated storms will move in. This is due to an area of low pressure coming into the region overnight. There will be bands of moderate to heavy rain overnight into Saturday morning. Ponding on roadways is possible, especially closer to the Catskills.

Through the midday hours on Saturday, most locations will dry out with some sunny breaks popping up. In the afternoon hours, between 4-7 p.m., there will be a threat of some isolated storms popping up as the storm system pulls away. After about 8-9 p.m., the rain threat will be fading with drier conditions moving in overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Sunday will be fairly nice, drier and breezy with mild temperatures. We'll enjoy several nice days next week with temperatures on the rise into the 70s and 80s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy skies through the day with a chance of late-day rain and thunderstorms. Highs: Low 70s. Lows: Mid-50s.

SATURDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH - Mainly cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning hours. There will be sunny breaks midday, followed by a chance for a pop-up afternoon storm. Highs: Upper 60s to low 70s. Lows: Upper 40s to low 50s.

SUNDAY: JUNE 1st - Partly cloudy and breezy at times. Highs: Upper 60s. Lows: Upper 40s to low 50s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs: Low 70s. Lows: Low 50s.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs: upper 70s. Lows: upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs: Low 80s. Lows: Low 60s.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs: Upper 70s. Lows: Upper 50s to low 60s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs: Upper 70s to low 80s. Lows: Mid-60s.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs: Upper 70s. Lows: Low 60s.
