Applications for 'Compassion in Action Award' now open for New Paltz HS students

The award recognizes New Paltz High School students who have shown a commitment to improving mental wellness, advancing social justice, empowering their peers, and strengthening their community.

The Maya Gold Foundation is announcing an opportunity for New Paltz High School students. 
The foundation is presenting its "Compassion in Action Award." The award recognizes New Paltz High School students who have shown a commitment to improving mental wellness, advancing social justice, empowering their peers, and strengthening their community. 
Two students will be selected and awarded $500 each. 
Students must apply by March 1. Applicants may be asked to partake in an interview during the application review process. They will be notified of a decision by April 1.
