A much sought after basketball player in Westchester County has announced his choice.

Johnuel “Boogie” Fland of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains has chosen the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Over 30 universities and colleges gave the 6-foot 3-inch senior guard offers.

It came down to Kentucky, University of Alabama and Indiana University.

Entering his senior year, Fland is currently ranked as a top 10 to top 25 player in the country for the Class of 2024 depending on the outlet and service.
