Another Bronx bodega owner became the victim of a robbery that he says left his family traumatized Sunday.
Owner Jose Tatis says two armed, young men barged into his Seneca Avenue store about 8 p.m. The robbers escorted Tatis, his wife and children to a back room where they took his wallet and green card. Tatis says the suspects then stole money from the cash register, cigarettes and cell phone cards.
Tatis says the robbery is the first problem he has had since opening shop more than a year ago. While he believes it's an isolated incident, Tatis says his children are scared. He says they were unable to sleep, fearing the men would burst into their home. Police are reviewing store surveillance videotapes.
