The professional dominatrix at the center of a sordid sex scandal involving the Greenburgh Police Department was in court Friday for a pre-trial hearing concerning a drug charge.
Gina Pane was arrested in January for DWI and possession of marijuana. The hearing is to establish whether evidence obtained the night Pane was arrested for marijuana possession can become evidence in a trial or should be dismissed. Pane?s attorney argued the officer did not have probable cause to search Pane or her vehicle.
Greenburgh Police Officer Michael Musser testified that he saw Pane in the front seat of her car lighting what he describes as a marijuana pipe. Musser also claims he and another officer found marijuana in the car they say belonged to Pane.
Pane claims after officers learned of her profession, she was sexually harassed. She is planning a lawsuit against the department. Pane also alleges she performed a kinky sex act for Officer Erik Ward in exchange for her charges being dropped. Ward denies the charges. He is in the midst of a criminal and disciplinary trial concerning those allegations.
