An investigation into bad checks written to a concrete business in Putnam County's Town of Southeast has led to the arrest of 60-year-old Michael Scoca.
The probe began in November when the business reported receiving two checks from Scoca for concrete deliveries to an address in Mahopac.
Efforts by both the business and investigators to resolve the issue with Scoca were unsuccessful, culminating in his arrest this past Tuesday.
Scoca's charges include one count of grand larceny and two counts of issuing a bad check.
Following his arrest, Scoca was arraigned in the Town of Carmel Court and remanded to the Putnam County Correctional Facility, where he was already being held on another charge.
Scoca is scheduled to appear in Southeast Town Court at a later date to address these new charges.
