Authorities: Ossining man threatened to kill US Postal workers, burn down post offices

Anthony Alfano was arrested in Yorktown Heights after he made a series of graphic and violent threats, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

An Ossining man was arrested after authorities say he threatened to kill U.S. Postal employees and burn down post offices in Ossining.
Anthony Alfano was arrested in Yorktown Heights after he made a series of graphic and violent threats, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Authorities say the threats stemmed from a package that 46-year-old Alfano believed was not going to arrive on time.
They added that Alfano has a history of encounters with law enforcement because of prior threats he made against local police, delivery persons and customer service representatives.
