A Ramapo man is facing up to seven years in prison for multiple felony charges, including attempted grand larceny.
Authorities say Bernard Salas stole items from two cars in Spring Valley during last July. Those items included an electric scooter and expired credit cards.
Officials say he also attempted to cash a stolen, forged check for $7,500 at a local bank in December.
Salas will be sentenced on Aug. 13, according to authorities.
