State police are searching for a former Dover town supervisor who has been missing for about 24 hours.
Authorities say 49-year-old Ryan Courtien was last seen Sunday morning near his home on Waldo Road.
Courtien currently serves as chairman of the Town of Dover Planning Board.
A search operation has been established near his home as crews work to locate him.
The current Dover town supervisor, who is also a close friend of Courtien, says he spoke with him Sunday morning about county business and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
State police are asking anyone with information about Courtien's whereabouts to contact investigators immediately.
